The Federation at a glance

The Provincial Federation of South Tyrol Haflinger Horse Breeders creates the framework conditions for the practical and concrete work of Haflinger breeders all over South Tyrol.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • providing comprehensive and in-depth assistance and advice in all matters of Haflinger husbandry and breeding
  • organising, supporting and promoting the participation in breeding and sports events
  • negotiating and offering preferential rates for members for all stud book services
  • Haflinger Info, a specialist magazine issued quarterly in print and online

There is a thriving, lively community of Haflinger breeders in South Tyrol. Its members are open-minded, passionate and committed, and their achievements enjoy international prestige: Haflingers bred in South Tyrol are in great demand all over the world.
