This year, the young mares of the Haflinger and Noriker breeds had to wait for quite a long time for their turn to be entered into the breeding register, as the traditional registration event had been postponed from spring to autumn 2020 because of the Covid19 outbreak. With the event now finally around the corner, the decision to combine the date with the also imminent South Tyrolean Foal Championship was not just an obvious choice but an excellent decision, too, as it turned out: There could not have been a more effective platform to present the latest in Haflinger breeding from throughout the region. And so, on the big day, a whopping 130 young mares and 44 foals provided a first-rate glimpse of what Haflinger breeding in South Tyrol has achieved in recent years. The Noriker breeders' community, too, showcased a total of 14 fine young mares with considerable effect. The verdict for this year's Haflinger Days: an all-out success! And thanks to ClipMyHorse Austria, one that was broadcast live to horse fans all over the world.
