An impressive event with countless highlights – 33 Haflinger and four Noriker colts at the 2024 stallion licensing, where this year’s aspiring new studhorses took centre stage. And with the traditional Stallion Parade, the already licensed stallions, too, had their moment in the limelight.
Noriker winner ZISS-SCHAUNITZ XVIII NBZ032/21 (owner: Martin Purdeller from Terento/Terenten) with trainer Stefan Brunner from Rasùn-Anterselva/Rasen-Antholz
National Selection's winner BENZ-E BZ30622 (owner: Wolfgang & Berta Wendlinger from Chiusa/Klausen) with trainer Georg Höller from Renon/Ritten
This year’s candidates are characterised by a high average quality, with truly outstanding stallions at the top – an achievement that can be wholly attributed to the great passion of the breeders behind these results.
As every year, the licensing event in Egna/Neumarkt once again attracted a colourful mix of visitors. The breeders, too, greatly appreciate the tightly coordinated dates during the International Selection Week, which has by now established itself as a key platform for international exchange.
